Residential Renovations 512 is a local remodeling company based in Pflugerville, just north of Austin. We remodel kitchens, bathrooms and whole homes, and we build decks, pool decks and covered patios across the Austin area.
We're a small company on purpose. When you call, you talk to Mike, the owner. He's the one who walks your home, writes your estimate, and stays your point of contact until the final walkthrough. No call center, no salesperson who hands you off after you sign.

Older homes closer to central Austin often have small, closed-off kitchens and baths that were never designed for how people live now. Newer suburban homes in places like Round Rock, Cedar Park and Pflugerville tend to have builder-grade finishes that are wearing out after 15 to 30 years.
The climate matters too. Long, hot summers are hard on outdoor materials, so we help you choose decking and finishes that hold up and match the upkeep you're willing to do. Much of the region also sits on clay soil that swells and shrinks with the seasons, which is why careful prep under tile and flooring matters.

When the buyer's inspection report comes back, the clock starts. We complete inspection repairs quickly and properly, from fixtures and doors to drywall, flooring and trim.

It depends on the work. In the City of Austin, finish work like painting, tile, cabinets and countertops is generally exempt, but changes to plumbing, electrical or structure need a permit from the city's Development Services Department, as do most larger or attached decks. Suburbs like Pflugerville, Round Rock and Cedar Park have their own permit offices. We tell you what your project needs and pull the permits as part of the job.

It depends on the scope. A vanity and tile update moves much faster than a full gut remodel that moves plumbing or walls, and special-order cabinets or countertops can add lead time. You get a written timeline with your estimate, before any work starts.
